Artilux NMF UAB Launches Project “Implementation of Alternative Fuel at Artilux NMF UAB”, Project No. 02-062-K-0014

Project Objective: The project aims to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels by replacing them with alternative fuels and to decrease the emission of greenhouse gases in the company's industrial operations.

To meet the highest sustainability standards, the company has decided to switch from traditional gas heating for part of its buildings to alternative geothermal heating, further reducing CO2 emissions.

The project will contribute to reducing the share of natural gas in overall consumption while promoting the increased use of alternative sources of fossil fuels in the industrial sector. This will mitigate Lithuania's impact on climate change, address air pollution, improve efficient resource use, and reduce dependence on energy imports.

The total eligible costs of the project amount to EUR 402,500. For the implementation of this project, the company has been granted EUR 342,125 under the European Union Funds Investment Program for 2021–2027 and the Lithuanian Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Program for 2022-2030, Measure No. 05-001-01-04-02 “Encouraging companies to transition towards a climate-neutral economy”.
